The basic PC UI design existed before I joined InteliSea. It was a good design and much of its basic layout remained throughout its design life.
Of course, there were myriad changes, completely new screens added, and elegant new components created over time.
The resulting award-winning design was recognized as best-of-breed in our industry.
Simple accordion panels, with active headers showing the status of the panel, even when deselected.
Tape gauges with the origin along the vertical center of the screen.
The result is neat, orderly symmetry where the eye can quickly and easily detect any anomalies.
These components were originally modeled and rendered in 3D, then recreated in 2D for use here.
Undoubtedly one of the many reasons InteliSea was known for its award-winning UI design.
Expandable category sections and visual representation of tank levels. Simple and informative.
Numeric indication available for a deeper look. Tape gauge color changes from green to red to yellow as conditions change.
Designers live by the picture being worth 1000 words.
Seeing user-selectable data trends displayed side by side proves the adage.
